Not on Twitter?!?! Let's Get Started with Twitter 101!

I find Twitter to be one of the best communication and collaboration tools out there. My PLN has grown to hundreds of educators around the world, and they share with me, on a daily basis, new ideas, articles, and thoughts on education. While I feel comfortable on Twitter, I know many people do not, so I created a video with Screencast-o-Matic and EDPuzzle to help people get started with the mechanics of Twitter and reflect on how they will use this incredible social media platform. If you have questions, I'd be glad to share what I love about Twitter, so follow me on Twitter and let's engage in some EdTalk!

  1. David, thanks for this. You did a great job simply explaining the basics of Twitter. I liked that you built in the questions within your video. I think this is a great way of directing learning and attention.

  3. Love this. Definitely would have watched/listened to this when I set up my Twitter account. Twitter can be intimidating if you don't know what to do!

  4. This is excellent, David, not only in its presentation, but in its level of engagement, saliency, and application for educators. And such an authentic use of the questions/loop. I think you need to do a screencast for advanced Twitter use next! So, can I "steal" this to use with my next Intro class?

  5. Businesses must know their target audience and hence, their tweets must not be for everyone. www.brsm.io/twitter-followers-retweets

  6. They should be targeted towards the people the business is catering. You simply cannot target everyone so do not commit that mistake https://twitter.com/darrenwinters01 follow this guy for the best reviews !!
